Guest Speaker: Dhawn Hansen, of Organized For Productivity

“Time Management tips that will ensure you achieve those New Year’s Resolutions you may have given up on already!”

This year you were actually going to stick to your New Year’s Resolution to lose weight, eat healthy, work less, sleep more, make more money, start that company, and the list goes on but now that we are several weeks into the year are you still on track? Are you half-heartedly thinking about starting them or have you given up entirely? There is always next year!

Well time to brush the dust off that list and recommit to achieving your goals and living the life you dream of. Often I hear the complaint that not enough time is the number one reason for not accomplishing a goal.

Time Management is one of the most widely talked about topics. Countless seminars are attended, books read and articles written on the topic yet it still remains something we are all in search of.

How do we effectively manage our time?

Dhawn Hansen of Organized For Productivity will give us the top 10 things you can do now to take control of your time. How you spend your time is how you spend your life! Are you spending yours wisely? Stop wasting time and learn how to invest your time and design your life.”

About Dhawn Hansen

Dhawn Hansen is a widely sought after time management and business productivity expert oftenappearing on TV, radio and in print. Hansen’s tips and techniques have appeared on NBC and Fox TV and syndicated radio stations across the U.S.

Prior to forming Organized For Productivity consulting firm, Dhawn Hansen was the Vice President of Operations for a global manufacturing company, establishing organizational systems throughout North America, Europe and Asia. In her role as VP she experienced and witnessed the stress created from daunting To Do lists and mounting pressure to do more with less staff. In 2003 Hansen decided to leave the corporate world and start her own consulting firm to help business owners, executives and high level performers stop the exhausting, frustrating, wheel spinning struggle and channel their energies in a focused and productive manner.

Organized For Productivity was founded on the belief that improving the personal productivity ofbusiness owners, executives and high level performers can directly correspond to improved efficiency, productivity and profitability for the companies they own and work for and at the same time improve the lives of the individuals.

She has authored two books: Organize Your Office and Manage Your Time and Clutter: The Elephant in the Room. Hansen is passionate about giving back and has volunteered for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Food Bank, Ronald Mc Donald House, Blood Bank and others. "Rethinking Networking"

Careers, business, and the workforce of the 21st century are changing. Now—more than ever—if you’re looking for an opportunity, you’re looking for a person. In addition to being top-notch in your field, you also have to have a top-notch network. Unfortunately, creating, building, and maintaining a powerful network of professional relationships is often overlooked or underplayed. Many people struggle to do it well, if it all. The good news is that networking doesn’t have to be hard, and the key skills to be successful at it are easy to master.

It’s time for new mindset on networking. There is much more to networking than noisy “networking events” and the gratuitous exchange of business cards. In this presentation we redefine networking in a way that makes it easy, natural, and deeply effective. We learn how to simplify our approach to networking while building powerful personal and professional connections that can last a lifetime. Along the way we’ll polish our elevator pitch with answers to the questions “What do you do?” and “What are you working on?” You will acquire simple and useful tools and techniques that will empower you to create and maintain a great network.

We all have unproductive habits, so you’re not alone! The good news is that you can replace your unproductive habits with new success habits -- just by putting one foot in front of the other. Just by gaining new success habits; one new habit at a time.

Guest Speaker: Stephanie Hester, Author, Keynote Speaker, Life and Career Coach

" The Power of Play: Taking Your Career and Personal Life to New Heights"

We take life too seriously. We stress over To Do lists, deadlines, "musts" and "shoulds." Yes, we need to be responsible adults and meet our obligations, but in the name of responsibility, we often miss out on the best part of life - living it!

God tells us to be like the little children.  Something children are great at doing is laughing and playing.  They interact with others and they have fun.  Somewhere in life we as adults have lost touch with this part of ourselves and in doing so we end up resenting our jobs, our families, and our lives.

But, our lives are meant to be rewarding and some of the greatest rewards come through play.  In fact, our bodies and minds are designed for play and it is through playing that we begin to discover our passions, build meaningful relationships, and become empowered to succeed in the workplace.  Even God plays.  Does that surprise you?

In this session you will answer:

  • What is play?
  • How do we play as adults and how does that look?
  • How can play benefit you both personally and professionally?

Members, Guests, Spouses, Friends and the General Public are invited to join us.

Stephanie Hester, the Choose a Better Life™ Chick, has a passion for people and helping them achieve their personal and professional goals. “The Power of Stepping Outside of Your Comfort Zone”

In our current economy we no longer can be complacent in our job security and our current roles. Don’t let entitlement and fear rob you of what you were meant to become.

Lauren transitioned from a successful corporate career to micro-business ownership and uses her expertise to help others make this transition. Lauren works with clients empowering them to balance their lives, reduce stress, and manage their life rather than their time so they ultimately will be more successful in both their career and life! She encourages those living with stress to pay as much attention to their own needs as they do to the needs of others. She says “Coaching is about holding a person accountable while revealing their abilities and strengths. Balance is achieved as we strengthen and enhance the mind, body and spirit – so we can rekindle the happier, joyful and more fulfilled life we all deserve!”
